The EMX4i is an advanced smart soft starter designed for in-line installation. It features an internal bypass and has a frame size of S1 with an IP20 rating. The current ratings vary depending on the load, with light at 105A, medium at 86A, heavy at 68A, and severe at 52A. The supply voltage range is between 200-525V AC, while the control voltage is either 110V or 240V AC. This soft starter offers a wide range of motor control features, including constant current and current ramp start, coast to stop and TVR stop, XLR-8 adaptive control starting/stopping, DC brake, soft brake, kickstart, soft trip, jog (forward and reverse), and inside delta (6 wire) control. It also provides motor protection against various issues such as motor thermistor faults, current imbalance, under/over current conditions, phase sequence errors, phase loss, and power loss. In terms of management and monitoring capabilities, the EMX4i includes emergency run mode and run simulation with real-time performance graphs. It also has SCR fail power through operation for uninterrupted operation in case of SCR failure. Additionally, daily on/off scheduling is available for simplified management. For enhanced functionality and customization options, the EMX4i can support an I/O smart card or a communication expansion card with a remote keypad connector. Alternatively, it can be used with a dedicated keypad connector card. The soft starter also includes a USB port for easy parameter upload and download along with data logging capabilities.
